Jólasveinar hunt

So someone appears to be stealing Christmas around here. And knowing his legends, Father Christmas has a pretty good idea who.

Before anyone sets off to retrieve their lost things, he hands out pairs of new socks.

"That'll protect you." he says. "The Jólasveinar won't hurt anyone wearing new clothes, for some reason."

He puts on his red and white fluffy hat, and leads the way with a lantern.

We're on a Jólasveinar hunt
Gotta get our stuff back
What a beautiful day!
We're not scared!

"Yeah, my powers are really only limited to chucking snow and hitting people with big blooming candy canes." Chris chuckles.

Somehow, Gyda was able to keep up, keeping her heavy cloak wrapped around her for warmth and protection. This sneaking around reminded her of when they were escaping to Floki's home, only it wasn't men they were trying to avoid.

"I have an ax, if you need a weapon." She said this to Cat. She had her sword as well, both weapons strapped to her belt.

"I don't think we'll be needing any of that." Father Christmas says. "I wouldn't lead all of you lot into danger without at least enquiring about battle skills if I thought you'd get hurt."

"Of course not," Cat says cheerily, though once Father Christmas' back is to her, she pulls out her switchblade, flicking the blade out and back in, to show Gyda she's not unarmed.

"So what are we doing here if it's not to fight? Just helping you find them?"
